If you decide to buy Elden Ring, you’ll want to pick the right edition for your interest level and budget and this guide will help you do just that.

FromSoftware’s latest title is available on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam.

Elden Ring has received extraordinary reviews from critics and gamers alike and it should probably be on your shopping list if you’re hunting for a new game to play on your console or PC.

There are several different Elden Ring editions including a standard version, a Deluxe Edition, a Collector’s Edition, and a Premium Collector’s Edition. Each edition comes with different bonuses at a different price point.

Elden Ring Standard Edition

The Elden Ring standard edition is the most basic version of the game. For $59.99, or less, you get a copy of the game. If you don’t want to pay the full $59.99 for a copy, keep an eye out for deals.

Right now, Amazon is selling the game for $49.99. Green Man Gaming has taken 13% off the price of a copy of Elden Ring for Windows PC. These aren’t the only deals out there so you’ll want to shop around before you buy.

The standard edition is the most basic version of the game, but it’s also the cheapest. It’s the version most people should buy.

Who should buy the standard Elden Ring edition? Newcomers to FromSoftware games who are interested in the game, but aren’t one hundred percent sure they’ll enjoy it and those who don’t need a ton of extras or collectibles.

You can buy it at various retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Microsoft, and Sony.

Elden Ring Deluxe Edition

If you want a little more from your order, consider buying the Elden Ring Deluxe edition.

The Deluxe Edition is more expensive than the Standard Edition ($79.99 vs. $59.99), but you get some additional extras bundled in including a digital art book and the game’s original soundtrack.

If you love FromSoftware’s art direction and music, spending the extra money might be worth it. You can find it on sale at retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Microsoft and Sony.

Elden Ring Collector’s Edition

Now here’s where things get interesting. There are two other Elden Ring bundles, but they may only appeal to diehard fans of FromSoftware games.

The first one is the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition comes with a bunch of extras, but it’s also a whopping $189.99. Here’s what that gets you:

Given its hefty price, this edition should, in most cases, only be bought by collectors and huge fans of FromSoftware games. You can find the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition at retailers like Amazon and Best Buy.

Elden Ring Premium Collector’s Edition

In the United States, the Premium Collector’s Edition retails for $259.99. This makes it the most expensive Elden Ring edition by a long shot. It’s also extremely hard to find.

This edition should only be bought by collectors or, perhaps, people with kids who would absolutely love wearing a helmet from the game around the house.

Elden Ring: Digital vs. Physical

Elden Ring comes in physical and digital formats. Here are a few things to consider before you pick one or the other.

If you’re sick of discs cluttering up your house, you should go with a digital version. You’ll also want to go digital if discs sometimes go missing or get damaged in your home.

If you play a lot of different games and don’t want to pull the disc out every time you want to play, go digital. Downloading a digital copy means you’ll have easy access to the game every time you start up your console.

There are also a few reasons to go with a physical copy of Elden Ring.

If you buy a physical copy you’ll be able to sell it to GameStop or a reseller like Craigslist or eBay if you get tired of it down the road.

You’ll also be able to lend your copy out to friends or family members when you decide to move onto another game.

Last year, Apple introduced a brand new pill-shaped notch the company calls Dynamic Island. Unfortunately, this change is only available on the company's high-end iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. That will likely change this year.

Analyst Ross Young believes Apple could bring Dynamic Island to the lower-end iPhone 15 models. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman does as well.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the iPhone 15's proximity sensor will be integrated into Dynamic Island. The proximity sensor on the iPhone 14 Pro models is under the display outside of Dynamic Island. This could lead to Face ID improvements.

This might give some of you considering Apple's iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus a reason to hold out and wait for the new models.

On the flip side, Young doesn't think the standard iPhone 15 models will get 120Hz/LTPO like the iPhone 15 Pro models. This haas been backed up by another source who says the iPhone 15/iPhone 15 Plus won't get ProMotion and Always-On display capabilities.

We've heard the the iPhone 15 Max's design will be made out of titanium as opposed to stainless steel.

Leaker ShrimpApplePro claims early information suggests Apple is indeed working on a titanium design. The leaker says the design may also incorporate curved rear edges and a glass back.

In a newer tweet, the leaker says the iPhone 15 Pro models will "have thinner bezels" with curved edges. The display is reportedly still flat, however.

ShrimpApplePro says additional sources now agree with the information and that the bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro models will indeed be thinner.

In a tweet, well-known leaker Ice Universe says the iPhone 15 Pro Max will break the record for thinnest bezels on a smartphone. The record is currently held by the Xiaomi 13.

Front glass panels for the iPhone 15 series have apparently leaked and they depict thinner bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong International Securities also believes the company is working to deliver a new titanium design. So does Gurman.

We've seen an iPhone 15 Pro dummy unit leak on the Chinese version of TikTok and it gives us a glimpse at what the device might look like. CAD images of the iPhone 15 Pro from 9to5Mac also show us what the final product could look like.

We've also heard the iPhone 15 Pro might have a multi-use action button instead of a mute button. This button would probably work like it does on the Apple Watch Ultra in that it will allow users to map it to different functions.
